The Castle - Skye Warren

Blurb

Safe in the ivory tower... Gabriel Miller swears he'll keep me safe. Enemies lurk outside, waiting to strike. An army held back by these walls. Except some animal instinct warns me the danger is much closer. It's already here. Is Gabriel my protector or my enemy? Is this house a castle or a cage? There's nowhere for me to go, no one left for me to trust. No escape from a past determined to capture its prize.

Review

Skye Warren has blown my mind with this series! When I say I couldn't put this down, I mean it. I pulled a late nighter just because I couldn't stop. It was one of those just one more chapter kind of book and after three more chapters you decide you might as well read until you eyes bleed. Luckily for me, that didn't happen. But I did finish this epic tale. Sometimes these two characters are so frustrating, but I think that's why we like them so much. The story moved so quickly, not because it was poorly written or that too much information is pushed through. It was quite frankly perfect. The right amount of suspense, the right touch of thrill. I wasn't sure if it would be able to top The Kinght, well it did. And it makes me want to learn to play Chess.
