Review
This was a book I've been wanting to read for a while, but hadn't taken the plunge. I am so happy that I finally too that plunge. I will admit, I've been a book snob. Really, I haven't read much off of Amazon or any of the other eBook sites or apps. Clearly I didn't realize what I've been missing. I really enjoyed this first novel in the Black Mage Series, it was a quick and easy read. The format and flow of the book really kept me from putting it down. I have one complaint and one complaint only. We get it, Alex is Ryiah's twin! It doesn't need to constantly be repeated. Really that's it. I loved this book from start to finish. There were never really any moments where I wish there was more going on. It had a really good balance. I honestly cannot wait to start reading the next book.
*** So I feel I should add this, the author saw my review and complaint and actually changed the book! It never occurred to her that it was in there a lot. Which it was. To some this might not seem like anything, but I had twins. I didn't like when they were referred to as the twins because they were individuals. You wouldn't always referred to your brother or sister as a sibling, even though they are. I hope this makes sense.***
