High in a snowy mountain range, a monastery that holds more than just faith clings to the side of a cliff. Below, thwarted by a lake, a bloodthirsty horde of raiders await the coming of winter and the frozen path to destroy the sanctuary and its secrets. The Bloodwitch Aeduan has teamed up with the Threadwitch Iseult and the magical girl Owl to stop the destruction. But to do so, he must confront his own father, and his past.

This series continues to get better and better with each book.

If you want my honest opinion I think this is one of those series that can handle quite a few books without getting redundant or stale. Also without getting ridiculously out there with plots and what not.

Once again we are back in the Witchlands world, Chapters are pretty much divided up by characters like always. So much growth has happened with each of these characters since the first book. I also recommend you read Sightwitch before reading Bloodwitch. Albeit you could probably easily read this without reading it. I just found it far more enjoyable to have some insight to some of the other characters and the history. Or rather some of the history in this series.

Your opinions are sure to change on some of the characters. That's all I'm going to say.
