If you want a damsel in distress saved right, sometimes you have to save her yourself.
With Amel's friend Savette kidnapped, Amel hoped people would believe her about how important it is to rescue Savette. Unfortunately, all they want from her is her silence and obedience and they are willing to threaten both her life and her dragon Raolcan's to get it. That's not enough to stop Amel. She's determined that Savette will be rescued and she won't be stopped by threats or powerful enemies.
Oh that ending! These cliffhangers are killing me! This installments was considerably better than the previous. The pace was a lot better, and not quite a whiney. I liked it a lot more seeing Amel more in her element. I have high hopes for Sworn. Though I'm not sure how well things are going to go for Amel and her knot.
