Weekend Roundup - Winter is here!

I don't know about you, but I had a rough week! So I needed a well deserved lazy weekend. Even though my husband worked all weekend and decided to go in early at 3 am all weekend. Let me tell you, this is not a complaint. He knows we appreciate everything he does. Every now and again he will go on one of these kicks where he will work a bunch, so he can really take time off and not worry about any bills or not being able to do what he wants.

On a better note, Game of Thrones is back! I don't know about you, but I have been waiting for this day for a while. Boy was I disappointed when I heard they had pushed back the season. But now that it's here I'm pretty happy. For those of you who are new here. My youngest daughter, her middle name is Daenerys. Why? Because it completely fits this child. She has embodied the Daenerys ways. Somewhat. I mean...she is only three after all.

I only get HBO when it is time for GOT to begin, why pay for it for all those other months when you really only need it for two? Currently I'm rewatching the last episode of last season so that I can make sure that I am remember everything.

Holy crap! That's all I've got to say about GOT last night. That was quite a season opener if you ask me! But again, I do love this series just as much as I love these books.

I only have one complaint about the weekend. Two words.

Fidget Spinners.

I think any parent with a child over 5 knows exactly what I'm talking about and why I'm talking about it. I resisted for sooooooo long in letting my children have them. Considering what they are technically for. But my biggest one (husband) saw them when we were checking out at Marshall's and bought three of them. It's been an annoying trend and the trend is now in our house. I feel I should mention, we had to go back and get a few more for some adults.

I feel I should mention that I AM NOT one of those adults. I still think they are annoying and am only bidding my time until I can justly take them away without too much fight. Or I might hide them while they are in the pool today. Which ever comes first.
