This is my favorite time of the year, anyone that knows me already knows this. I feel like I can truly be my evil self during this month and people just think it's because of Halloween. Jokes on them I suppose. Though it also means that the leaves are falling and it's wet. I don't like the wet!
*Cue the Twilight reference*
But seriously though, I don't like the whole wet vibe that we have in the fall.
Where I live we are called the City of Trees, no joke. I think there is a requirement that you must have at least 12,000 trees in your yard to live in this suburb of Toledo. Needless to say, we are those asshole neighbors that wait until the last minute to blow all the leaves into the street. Just so that they blow in everyone else yard to make them do more. Granted, it's not necessarily on purpose. There are in fact a few neighbors that I don't mind or feel bad if our leaves blow all over their pristine green yards.
They didn't seem to happy when I put out our decorations back in September. I am actually in love with what my husband built for me this year. Let me know if you want a break down of how we built our fence.
Those little plastic ones you buy at the store just never did it for me. The moment we put a few in the ground they broke and with the help of my now 6 year old son, they other few were destroyed. Not to mention you can never get them even, they never want to stay in the ground. I was just OVER IT. So luckily for me my husband had seen a bunch of youtube videos on people building the fences and using them. So after watching a few my husband was inspired to build this for me.
Don't tell him, but next year I'm going to plant a bunch of coffin videos somehow on his FB. I've been asking for one for years!
